since the trails are getting hard to find, i decided to go trail hunting in my erea. i am currently livin in the erea of messines near maniwaki. i heard that there is some pretty wicked trails down there. i found one near blue sea and we call it the tower. it's more like a beginers trail but still fun to do each and every years. got a pic-nic lookout of the blue-sea lake up there and a little sheletr also. i'm gonna head down in mont-laurier this coming spring and serach for some awesome...

ok i will take that in consideration. i have alot of parkin space at my place, but i will go and check for parking space down there. at the tower near blue sea there is a huge spot where people can park tehre rigs to go up by the paved road, and the trail is just beside it.so i will keep in touch with those progress hopefully very soon!

Don't you need trail passes on the Quebec side if you use any of the ATV trails.

Just the pondering of an Englishman. I was thinking about running some of the trails by my Inlaws Cottage over in Quebec, but the boys at work who ATV & Sled said I would need a trail pass because the Cops are everywhere on the trails.

no. depends where you go. i am trying to get in contact with some land owners and explain them my situation. we've been wheeling in blue sea for over 6 years and people go there also. but it only takes one bad apple to ruin it ! by havin some permission of the land owner, we wont have any problems. i will work very soon on that cause there is alot of wicked terrain up here. there is also the verendry park wich would be a great place. i will talk to some people to see if it's governmet land since it's a sort of national park.

La V?rendrye is a wildlife reserve, which is open to snowmobiles, so maybe? I've only ever canoed there, but maybe there's multi-use trails.

lol!! well i'll find out if we have the wright to go wheelin there before i say to you guys come on down. but i will find some that's for sure. there's a few friend of mine down here that apparently have nice land to go wheling. not just mud but rocks also. i will attempt your runs also, cause beside callabofie, that's all the wheeling i did on the ontario side. me and a couple of buddies are supposed to hit callabogie and the quinn as soon as spring shows up. but there's also a powerline trail in quouyon, qc, dunno if that is spelled right but it's been a while since no one has done this one.
gotta go and check it out.
