I dunno, lots of empty looking unusable space in there.

I was thinking about tongue weight, but don't know how fifth wheels apply to that. Anybody want to school me on the difference?

Yes I would change some of that interior around, make the front a full camper etc.....but I don't think it matters what the tongue weight is Dan the Cherokee still wouldn't be able to pull it

now that's a llloooooooonnnngggggg trailer, that would put you past the legal length here in ontario wouldn't it? I think a kodiak would be a good tow rig for that!

53' is legal. it's what you see big rigs hauling. the only difference is that you'll need an 'A' licence to pull it that and at least a 1 ton truck to pull it depending how heavy it is

My F-600 would look good towing that . And you would only need an A licence if the trailer you are towing is over 4500KG otherwise a D licence will work just fine. If it weighs more, you can also get a restricted A license.

Just for reference sake. You would only need your D if your truck trailer combo is over 11000kg. It would be with a one ton, that trailer and a rig inside, just thought I would pipe up with that info. I stopped and talked with a really nice gentleman at the scales one day. Tired of getting wrong info from people that have "heard this from my sisters boy friends, aunt who was once married to a truckers kid brother". Another point worth mentioning is that as a G class driver you can haul 11000kg combo as long as your vehicle is not registered for more. Eg jimbog if your f600 is registered for 15000kg then if you were long hauling with a buddy he would have to have a D license. Even to drive it empty. Something else I clarified with mr mto at the scales.

It would be a great platform to to build a living area in the front with shop and rig in the rear, when i put the loaded motorhome/jeep on trailer combo on the scales when we headed down to Rausch this past summer i was just under 11000kg, so i can't imagine that this with say a dually would be any heavier - i would like to know how heavy that trailer is though.
