Odyssey battery dealers in town?

I bought my last Odyseey at Total Battery because i wanted to go local in case their were troubles.

There aren't - I just want 2 more.

But they say they don't have them and can't get them till Feb 09

WTF??

Yeah, I heard the same story when I was getting a new battery for the DD...it sounded more like Odyssey was having production issues than anything.

Crazy thing - I actually stoppped by the Newmarket St location taoday - they have 5 in stock (of the 15000).

Man did the price go up too, though.

paid 185 in march, 321 today!!

Core charge went from 10 to 18 as well!!

It's a crazy world!!

Any way you can defer the purchase a few weeks/months?

I ask because I am noticing with the US economy being generally stupid right now things from there are having lots of spikes and peaks. By the time TB gets there next batch prices may be down again.

The spike has been since July at least as I went in there to get one then and they quoted me that price.
