OT: Adobe FLASH problem

I have a prob on one of my PCs where Adobe FLASH doesn't work for some sites such as this site http://us.powerade.com/ or this gadget game http://www.googleminiapps.com/630/fun-games/poke-the-penguin-gadget/ which actually tells me it's not installed. But other FLASH objects or games work fine.

I have the latest version of FLASH (10) and the FLASH site shows that it's installed properly. I tried using Adobe's uninstaller, re-booting, then re-installing. It's broke...

A few quick things I might try is first off to fix flash in firefox and IE, I would boot into safe mode to uninstall then boot back to normal for the reinstall.

As far as what's causing the issue with some pages and not others I would test out security software, simply disable the firewall and or anti virus and whatever other security I have and test one of the mentioned sites.

Is there a Javascript error on those pages?

None reported to me. My laptop is setup almost the same, same version of FF and FLASH, and it works on those websites.

I did try to uninstall and re-install Java and FLASH together, that didn't help.

I'll try the SAFE mode uninstall if I have time tonight.

I had some success this morning. I disable AVG link shield (or something like that) which fixed IE but not FF. Then I removed the Adblock add-on in FF and that fixed it, but somehow IE broke again :banghead:

Oh well, FF is my primary browser so at least I got that one going.

Thanks for the tips.
