Hi Guys, anyone know of any good trails up around pembroke/pet? I was up there years ago and was on a pretty good trail but can't remember where it was.

Any ideas?

There is a tight ATV trail on the right side of the road, across the road from the gas station by the beer store in Pet. It's got some trails off the side that go into sand pits.

I use to take the kids to the little area at the end of the road by the beer store. It was a good place to go for an hour or so and the kids loved it, but not he subdivision is there.

There is also a pipeline past deep and chalk that you can get on and see what's out there.

Black bay road is a known trail but I never got onto it.

Other then that Pet is one big sand pit so good luck finding a muddy or rocky trail. I didn't have much luck. Calobogie is the best place i found for trail riding

yeah, the trails around the area tend to be very stock friendly hunt camp access roads (tons of those) with semi-difficult off shoots that are not long in length, that's why i love to travel to places like the gorge or calabogie. There is of course many a swamp or mud hole in the area but i have yet to find any rock trails that would occupy a good days wheelin. I suppose one of the drawbacks to the trails here is that there has never been a club or organized effort to "grow" or develope some good trails.
