Actually there is a message on DMR saying that it is full now. There maybe some seats available though.

Spring Fever is May long weekend. Its a good time, capture the flag event on Sat. and trail runs on sunday. It is up in Calabogie. There will be a thread on here soon explaining it all.

hey, just wondering about this spring fever event. the link is for 2010, is it basically the same deal for 2011? also, i'd be in for the event, except i can't get insurance on my buggy because nobody will insure it since its highly modded. just wondering if that is a problem that would stop me from attending.

SF 2011 will be pretty much the same as last years. And to answer your other question you do need liability insurance on your vehicle, this is law for any motor vehicle on crown lands which all our trails are on. Some people in Ontario (not around here but more central) have been stopped at trail heads and ticketed by OPP for not having insurance. Do some searching, some people have changed their truck to be designated as off-road only like an ATV and have been able to get insurance.
