I was at PA today and saw they have the green plastic 20l Jerry cans for $65 and the spouts for $40. I paid more at National4x4 . They also have the water containers too.

Wow, thanks for this. I was looking for spouts on the net just this week! Cheapest I could find was $70. I picked up 4 jerry cans from a surplus guy a few years back.

I want, but no way I could spend over $100 on that right now :(

I went to PA today, and they're sold out of the spouts. They still have gas and water cans. The blue 20 L water cans are $40.

Get them while you can. I ordered the spout from DS Tactical a while back, and with shipping it cost just about $45.

Trixter, I checked when I got home after we talked tonight. (Dunno why I keep thinking $60).

Still a lot for a spout, mind you, but it works perfectly if you've got the MFCs. You can also make you own with plumbing parts from Home Despot. The MFCs have an inner thread in the opening that's standard.

Also, if you're looking for MFCs, there's a local guy who runs a surplus business out of his backyard (somewhere near Richmond, I think), and has about 50 or so on hand. They're used. Think I paid $10 or $15 per can. I picked up 4, they stack nice in the corner of the garage.

Sorry for the delay. I found his card. He's in Kars, not Richmond actually.

Might want to email or call to see if he's still in business. He had all sorts of stuff: clothing, sleeping bags (including the arctic shells), stoves, boots, etc.

Here's the info:
