What do you guys think is a good price for a rebuilt SM420 tranny ?

Sota depends on if you're the buyer or the seller 
I generally think any of the big ol' iron gearboxes are worth 200-250 in junkyard condition.
A rebuild could add 100 or more, depending on what was done (all bearing, selas, wear-parts or ??)

I was looking at buying one . It has had new bearings , seals , gaskets , syncros and syncro keys . The guy selling it wants $400 bucks - which seemed a little steep to me , but I wanted to get other peoples input on it .
