Some of you might remember this truck, It was an old OVO members Rig:

I have been bugging him for a while to sell it because every time I go over to his house it is parked in the field, ignored :(

Anyway - He finally wants to sell it so he dragged it out of the weeds and gave me a call.

So I got it home. Have been working on it pretty steady over the last couple weeks. Main unexpected thing was the tailgate was rotten.

I cut out the rot in this pic, as you can see, It was missing a whole hing section!

I found one on Kijiji luckily though, in really good shape, here it is with some minor body work done and in primer:

Some random pics - Rear of 4Runner:

I also managed to save the fiberglass skin off the old one for the future.

I also needed to order some corner lights for the front, the best place I could find was Rock Auto.

Because of the front bumper, I drilled an extra hole in the light to also house the turn signal:

Other stuff I have done:

-Cut off the muffler, it was full of newspaper (fucking mice) and now it runs better being able to breath ;)

-Replace the Clutch Slave Cylinder (clutch now works mint)

-Jamie and I bled the brakes. All working good there now too!

-Removed about 2 feet thick of hay from the blower motor (Again, Fucking Mice)

-Cleaned up the oil pan, found holes, and plugged with JB-Weld - It is drying right now, will paint over it tomorrow

-Tested Parking Brake, Lights, etc... All work except reverse lights.

Things left to do before safety:

Exhaust from Cat Back - have stainless magnaflow from my original buggy, will use that

Reverse lights don't work, bulbs and switch in trans are tested as OK so I have to find out what else is wrong

Finish tailgate - Paint and assembly.

Procure 35" tires and mount on Jean-Guy's Rims!

Oil pan fix was a success. No more leaks.

Got the tailgate in paint:

I even found my original badge off my very first 4runner (the frame that is now in the buggy)
