I know there is a specific rotation pattern that is recommended for this type of rotation, but I don't always follow it because sometimes it doesn't seem to make sense based on the tire wear I am seeing. I've been putting the tires with the most wear on the front, since I figure that the torque is...

Your rear tires do experience some torque when moving forward, but the front get a LOT of torque when braking since we usually brake harder than we accelerate. And then the front get more wear when turning, so I think seeing more wear on the front is normal.

The best way to get even wear is to use a rotation pattern that will place the tires to every position and stick to it.

Fronts normally wear faster. Turning scrubs them alot. Even wear across the tread is ok but if there wearing anything but that something's not right

Truxus are bad on wearing, they will never wear even no matter what you do.
