I'm doing a 1 ton axle swap into my TJ and I'm looking for some advice on which rear axle to go with. The rear axle I choose has to be able to hold 5.38's in it, not made for all axles out there that are available to us.
My first choice was the 14 bolt, strong, plentiful, easily shaven, gears easy to setup etc. Negative side no disc brakes, park brake and heavy.
Second choice is an econline E350 D60, disc brakes with park brake setup(important to me for semi DD)
