Rear end for dads Cherokee

Looking for a Dana44 3.54 gear set and a good trac-loc or ls carrier , or a complete Chrysler8.25" ls axle with 3.54 gears.
Currently running a dana44 from an 89 Comanche. The tracloc side springs broke and went through the gears chipping teeth. I currently have it welded to get by but that's not so nice for pops on the highway or around town.
I do have an open carrier with 3.54 gears from a '78 J10 but I'm not certain its compatible with the Comanche housing...
Anyone with first hand...

Other than the new JK stuff, a D44 carrier is a D44 carrier, and it's compatible with the Comanche housing.

Good good, thanks for the confirmation. Mr Google shows only the 8.9" d44 being different but Mr Google doesn't always tell you the whole story. I thought that maybe the Comanche would have less axle splines, smaller carrier bearings, or a smaller pinion or some game stopper like that.
