Samurai YJ springs Q's

I'm getting ready to swap YJ springs under my samurai and I have a few questions....

1) The springs are symetrical except one bushing is larger then the other. Does the big bushing get mounted to the frame?

2) The set of springs I aquired have 2 springs with 5 leafs, and the other two only have 4 leafs. Which ones go where? 5 leafs up front to support motor?

3) any suggestions on a Shackle length? (stock springs)

Thanks for your help

the big bushing goes towards the center

yes the 5 pack is for the front to support the engine

my shackles are 6.5" bolt to bolt, they are heavy duty and 1" longer than stock...\

hope that helps

Any thoughts on....

Should I do a "shackle reversal" on the front and mount the shackles close to the firewall? or leave it in the "stock" configuration?

some people have issues with bump-steer, and that's why they go with that configuration. never had an issue with it myself.
