If you would like to know about this trail go to the other thread... this thread is only to find out which day everyone wants to go....so post up what day everyone would rather do the run....keep in mind you WILL be muddy and may need sunday to clean the trucks and yourself up

MUST have front AND rear tow point
and
minimum 31 mud terrains preferrably 33

28 for me too and i have a neighbour with a rubi on 32s with winch who may come also

I'd like to go as well on the 28th but I'll be taking my ATV if that's ok? (oh boy, I'm gonna pay for this aren't I?) It is an off-road vehicle! Anyhow, perhaps I could wear my Chest waders and I could be the winch getter guy and strap guy etc. I just need to know which side you guys will be starting? From the East or West side? I recommend the East side (its the muddiest) then you'll hit the Quarry (for a nice truck bath) and I think the rest of the way isn't so bad.

yep, finishing at the quarry unless it's a total nightmare then we can bail at the halfway mark.

so, atv eh.... uuuhhhh ok... if i get stuck that would probably even pull me out!

Yeah, I wouldn't count on my ATV pulling anything but it would allow me to help with being winch man(for anyone who has a winch on their truck) and strap guy for anyone who needs a pull. I ran into a couple of bow hunters a couple years back in a 4x4 Chev pickup and they were buried up to their axles in mud and we had 5 ATVs and we couldn't budge their truck. They had to get a farmer to come and get them out with a tractor.

i won't be counting on that, no - lol. but sounds like you want to play in the mud and that will be welcomed by all i'm sure!!

actually now that i'm thinking about it.... last time i was in there, last august there were a couple guys that got their atv's stuck and we passed them in our zuks. of course, to get the atv's unstuck it seemed to go very quickly

Any real vehicle should be able to pull out 3 ATVs at a time lol

so not much response in here, seems a couple of us are in for the 28th so lets make that the date for this ride officially. we can set a meeting time/place closer to next weekend. should be a fun day :beer:

I will be in on the 28th.

I wouldn't worry about the 31" tire rule though for some small trucks, we brought a group of stock kicks through with us a year or so ago on 205's, and while they got stuck lots, kinda part of the fun. the "deep" spots were not mandatory so should be ok as long as someone is willing to give a pull.. winch spots or anchor spots are a bit, limited, but we have always managed. I don;t ind pulling or doing what ever is necessary.

and yes start from the east.

let us know where you are coming from, will meet in Kemptville at the Food Basics parking lot (on 43 on right cannot miss it at west side of town), timmies right across the road.

If there are people leaving from Ottawa and want to dirve together from Ottawa, I suggest leaving Ottawa at 8:30 which should get you to Kemptvile about 9, and we will leave Kemptville at 9:15 for trail.

Please include your preferred meeting spot so we do not wait for anyone.

I might bring the Sami. The really big dents from spring fever have been hi-lifted out but I still don't have the windshield frame straight enough to get the windshield back in so it will be dependent on the weather (cold I'll do, Wet, maybe not). I'll confirm at the end of next week.

OK, I didn't read the forum much this week, IncredibleHulk is out (sucks about your tires). Is your neighbour still in? or are there only a couple of us going?
