Looking to put new seats in the Sami and was wondering what other were running. What do you love/hate about them? What would you use if you had to do it again?

The criteria I'll be looking for:
1. Adjustability (the laid back zuk seats aren't doin it for me. I need to sit pretty straight-up to be comfy and to reach the wheel without jamming my knees into the steering column)
2. Comfort (Let's just put it this way; MY ASS HURTS!:pissed:)
3. Price (I'll be goin to the wrecker for these folks...

I'm running Honda civic SI seats from a 92, easy to mod to fit in the Zuk. Got them off of usedottawa.com for $75

I've ran civic, neon and aftermarket racing seats. The civic seats that Suzicrazy is running are by far the most comfortable, easy to find and like he said a relatively simple mod to fit (as simple as a case of beer or three brought to the Zooklounge). :smokin:

I'm running prelude seats, but I'm finding my saturn seats to be quite comfy. if you like side bolster, saturn seats might be easier to find than honda seats

I think that some kind of Honda seats is the way I'll go. I seem to remember really liking the seats in my old Preludes. They go bolt upright like I like too.

Did they ever make a heated seat in the Prelude or Civic? (I'm starting to think luxury now:D)

Anyone have any experience with VW seats (Golf/Jetta)? Any good? Some came with Recaro's didn't they?

I've got a Jetta and love my seats...heated, height adjustable, and go nice and vertical. Only complaint is if you want to adjust the back (say to get at something in the back of the truck), you basically can't. Only a little dumb adjustment knob that takes forever to do anything.

The GTI models have the Recaro's, and they are pretty sweet too...lots of thigh bolstering. Don't know if they were heated though.

I have recaros from an 8V GTI (1991??) in my Land-Rover. They would be perfect for a Sami.

03 for me, but they had similar heated seats in the 91-98 models as well, and even the 84-90 models I think.

I'm certainly intrigued Mike.

Are they comfy? How's the bolstering and adjustabily?
I like to sound of the handles. "Hold on tight if you know what's good for you". Bwahahaha!!!

I'll try to call you tomorrow during the day.

seats are fairly comfy, but the bolster ain't there if your a skinny guy like me. maybe it'll be better for your frame.
