Thats what you would have seen at any 4x4 event in the 80s. They were in the 4x4 mags I used to buy. I was riding dirt bikes then and we saw big toyotas etc... in mud holes all the time. Also saw a few car bodied 4x4s and even a tracked vw in our area. I love it.
I recall those as well.. I had attended Bloomsburg 3 yrs in a row in the late 80's early 90's. Best part were the night shows out on the main drag where these rigs would drive up and down all night long!!!
