I know

By looking at the star pattern (familiar to Pit Bull) its a Pit Bull tire. The new release Rocker. Nice rubber Bill.

Steve and Mitko have it.

Thumbnail test tells me they are softer - wish I had a durometer.

Thay have a ton of biting edges on the tread - like a pre-grooved and siped tread.

Cant wait to try them.

Bill, why do you decide to switch to Pitbull, are they better than Interco's? Or you have any other reason?
Great tires anyway.

I just end up a long forum duscusion in my other offroad forum trying to convince every one over there that there is nothing better than Interco SS tires.

I was down in Ogdensburg today picking up some new toys as well :)

Anyone recommend a decent shop locally that can install the lift kit for a reasonable price? (And reasonably soon? i.e. tomorrow or Monday, or the weekend heh). No garage, no driveway, and I really don't want to be rolling these things around my dining room (bad enough the Jeep hardtop is being stored there).

Nice Rubber. :smokin:

what kind of lift? Suspension or Body?

what size tires are those?

If I had a shop and/or time I'd say drop by and we'd git'r'done.....but still working on my junk.

Specs in my bio :) 2.5" Teraflex Budget Boost (coil spacers, adaptors for the stock shocks).

Tires are 35x12.5R17. Going to start calling shops tomorrow morning and see if I can get em installed, otherwise I'll have to take them out for the weekend, and the dining room is getting kind of full what with the hardtop where there should a table :)

Not sure if a 2.5" BB will be enough to run 35's? Also the gearing will be a dog on the highway. Until you get the 5.13's. Plus, you might want to stick with 4.56 or 4.88's. 5.13's may be a tad low for highway driving.

2.5" is the minimum for 35's with the JK. Probably will be ok with the coil spacers (from what I've read). Is this our first JK lift in the club?

Yeah, 2.5" is the minimum. For $270 it'll hold me until I decide to get a 3 or 4" lift with new coils/shocks.

The lift kit/tires/wheels are exactly the same as what he was running, with no issues. Also have additional 3/4" coil spacers for the front to level it off after I add the front bumper/winch. Also looking at adding a 1" body lift at some point, will have to see how this round of installs go.

Nick has suggested 5.13's, though depending on how sluggish it is that may have to wait till the fall/winter/spring budget when I can add lockers as well and only have to re-gear once.

2007 JK with the 2.5" lift and 35x12.50R17 tires.
