what exactly does it do the tires are pretty warn out does it make the original grooves deeper or is it to just give it different grooves

you can do whatever you want, new grooves, deeper original grooves, hell you can erase tread block's to make bigger void's for mud paddles. The sky is the limit,and your imagination is the airplane.

Exactly what tires? Some tires (bias ply swampers as an example) have a ton of meat in them, so even "bald" ones can be brought back to life. Some radials, on the other hand, might have very little rubber before the belts, and aren't a good candidate for grooving.

they are michelin xmls and they are pretty bald so i was hoping i could bring them back to life
