I was visiting family this weekend in Pembroke and I decided finally to rotate my tires after noticing the fronts were wearing more than the rears. I have rotational tires, so I just went back to front. I should have took it on the hwy to get it up to speed after to see if everything was working well, however I didn't.

Today on my way home, I was driving through Cobden and just started to get back up to speed when the damn thing started to shake me apart. Now I have and awful "death...

I just fixed mine!!!

my problem from what i can tell by all the parts that came off. it was mostly due to a shot unit bearing. although the ball joints were on there way so they also contributed to my problems.

so to fix mine it took me replacing upper and lower ball joints and unit bearings, I would have ; looked at the tie rods but all that was changed last year.

hope it helps

Issue resolved (for now). I guess my wheels didn't want to be rotated. Put the wheels back to where they were and it floats like a dream again. Guess they were never rotated very often and have wore themselves into their position. Will have to run them right down and then get a new set of 4.

Usually the following fixes death wobble on a TJ:
1. Tire Balancing
2. Alignment
3. Check Control arm bushings as you may have some wallowed out
4. Tie rod issues or other steering parts have play.
5. Trackbar
In my case, it was number 5. Fortunately I was planning on replacing my lift and getting an adjustable track bar. I ended up getting a Currie TJJ couple weeks early. No wobble since.
