If you've had a good experience with TW, is the $55 not worth the peace of mind?

^^^ What he said. Ultimately it is your choice but as far as I look at it I would rather spend $55 on what I know works and works well than risk spending $55 on what may end up costing more if I was wrong. Haven't heard of Adams/Ballistic before so I can't say if they are better or worse that TW.
That said my rear drive shaft was a TW and I have only had good support from them

Just got off the phone with the boys from 4xshaft.com and ordered myself the top end front DS for $299. I asked the poor guy a 100 questions and he answered every single one of them without missing a beat... It actually sounded like he was having fun....

This included Toms own Gold Sealed greasable u joints which he said are better and stronger than spicer and he also through in the rubber flex boot and a set of replacement bolts for an additional $6....... And the shipping was only $10 to Ogdensburg.... Great Price all around.... They also mentioned that they not only give a lifetime warranty on the steel tube but on the welds as well.....

They also mentioned that if the u joints failed within the first year that not only do they replace them for free that I could ship the DS back to them and they would do all the work at their cost.... I am really glad I went with the TW products. They can be found at 4xshaft.com.
