TJ soft top on YJ

I've seen this done in a few places on the web but never in person.

Has anyone here seen it in the buff?

Does it work or does it end up being a fangled up POS that doesn't fit and flaps like a bed sheet on the clothesline when on the highway?

Inquiring minds wanna know. :)

Yeah, they can be very vague on real world senario's.
As stated in one of the Jeepking posts, there may be an adapter at Quadratec. I did a quick search and didn't see anything but only that was only quick search.

Yeah, saw that adapter mentioned. I'd be very surprised if such a thing existed.

There is a guy on JeepForum that stretched his YJ to TJ-L length and he put on the TJ top. It's still on jack stands though so no real world info on it in use.

Yeah, it would be nice to know how they are at highway speeds. I would think that as long as you got it tight then you wouldn't have a problem. It's just what do you have to do to make it tight. I'll keep my eyes open for you.
