Trouble removing mirrors

Okay, so my Warrior fog light bracket/ mirror relocat kit came in and i cant seem to remove my stock mirrors from the mirror arms...
....The new brackets are sopose to use my stock mirrors but they wont come off the arms


Any ideas?

I think the mirrors changed in '03... I'm not sure the mirror comes off the base in the later models.

Got a picture of them? If they are like the one's I got (which are the 98) they were a bear to get off. Had to bang them around with a hammer to get them off.
Dunno about the post 03 models and Brad may be right.
