U-bolts

My axle uses 2-3/4 U-bolts but not being able to find any locally quickly I bought some 2-7/8" ones to keep going with the mockup and getting things sorted.

Now that the rear axle is installed and everything is welded I'm thinking I'm not going to bother getting the proper size U-bolts. It looks fine to me.

Think I should leave it or get the right parts?

By your standards, I'd get the propper ones.
By mine, I'd leave them.

TDL Springs off Carp Road & Richardson Side Road can make any size you want.

Malmbergs also bends ubolts to any size you want.
