upper link material

Looking for opinions on running HREW on upper links in my 4 link. Lowers will be 2in .250 DOM. Thinking of using the same but HREW for my uppers. I am thinking that they won't take the impact or bending loads that the lowers will.

No need for 2" uppers, I am using 1 1/2 - 1/4 wall for my uppers and they are fine.

1/4 wall for lowers is a bit small IMHO - I have 2" - 3/8 wall DOM lowers and I have one that has a noticeable bend in it...

If you already have the 2" DOM for the lowers, sleive it on the inside with whatever will fit. The outside layer of my lowers are 2" schedule 80 pipe (nearly 2.5" od) and I have 3 layers inside of that. The uppers only take load and should never take any impact. If you see what the boys at PJF run for links, even Adrian's 1.5 x .250 is super-heavy duty.
