Variances on Lug threads?

I've got a '98 8.8 in the rear and a '76 D44 in the front on the TJ, which replaced the D30/D35 stockers.

Question is.... Will my lug nuts that i had on the D30/D35's work on my 8.8/D44? Or, do i have to get lug nuts specific to these new axles? I have a few on right now to hold the rollers in place, but they didn't go on that easily. i just don't want to fawk up the threads.

Yes. Different lugs have different thread pitches.

Edit: And as far as I recall, the ford 8.8 should be the same as your TJ. 1/2 x 20

Actually I did a quick check here at work and I figured the rear would be metric but I come up with both studs front and rear being 1/2 X 20.

The TJ also takes 1/2 X20 so you should be good to go.
