Welding Course

Hey Guys,

I'm just wondering if anybody has any recommendations on where in the Ottawa valley (more near pembroke) I can find a good quality welding course on weekends/nights/2 wk block periods. I'm looking for primarily mig but if other types are included that would be a bonus.

Thanks

I've taken / am taking welding courses at Algonquin. Is there a welding lab at the Pembroke campus?

I'm happy enough with them but the quality is really dependent on the quality of the instructor.

Looking forward to TIG next semester.

Are you taking the course on weekends, nights or through the day? How many courses have you taken?

I've done the Oxy-Ace and am just finishing up Arc 1. I took them because they are the pre-reqs for TIG. In January I'm planning on taking TIG and MIG both. I do everything with MIG already but it doesn't hurt to get formal instruction.

I've been taking them at night during the week (one night a week).
