Where to find axles?

I'm in the planning stages (and it's going to be a long stage) of an axle swap for the Heep, and from what I've heard and the prices I've been given for other parts, the local junkyards aren't exactly that inexpensive. The wife also doesn't want me dragging home a truck just to grab a few parts off of, so the question is: where do you guys get major parts like this? Scouring other boards, craigslist, kijiji, etc? Friends/neighbours/word of mouth? Other junkyards in SO, Quebec, the...

kijiji is always a good one, people are selling parts on there all the time you just have to keep your eyes out

I've been watching Throttlehappy, and suspect they'll be the best source. Found a few on Heepkings too. Never given much thought to Pirate though...I guess I'll have to start wading through there.

And I've heard a couple of people had a bad experience with Carleton Automotive, so I think I'll steer clear if I can.

Locally? I've never seen much on the Ottawa site, but I guess I haven't been looking hard enough. One more place to add to the list.

I got a D60/14B from a guy in Boston of Pirate.

5.13s, Detroit/spool, 35spline Yukon axles, rear disks, high-steer, etc.
Was well worth the 18hr round trip. :D
