Also seen online a complete engine rebuild kit for around 500$. Also if this helps any my buddy has an AMC 360 that hed prob sell if if you wanted to go to a cheap v8

Im going to upgrade axles before a V8 swap. And then ill go a 5.3 or 6L. Thanks, just keeping an eye out locally for now. Mine runs right now. Just looking for a spare for when I blow this one up.
