Have you been messing with the spreadsheet from over at the PBB? It helps a lot.

I haven't looked at in quite a while...

Thanks for the links, I googled/pirate the calculator... but I was just reading the "proper" terms that are used to plug into the calculator which caused the headache! LOL

Don't get too wrapped up in the calculator. It's great and all to get a general gist of "where" you need to put "what", but in the end it all comes down to what you can make fit where. The biggest piece of advice I can give from when I 4 linked my rig, is to make at a minimum, the upper link frame mounts adjustable, and if you can get away with it, the lower link frame ends as well. That way you can dial it in to suit the terrain you're running in without having to cut anything off...

Great advice! I think your right, in the end it's all gotta go where it fits - and I never thought of making mounts adjustable! I think that's the way to go.

Bah - it's dirt simple man. Don't too wrapped up in the terms. 4 linking a TJ without some frame mods will result in a far cry from the "perfect" setup, but will still get you by, although some of the lesser qualities can be overcome by sway bars, upped pressure / oil levels in air shocks / coilovers, stiffer spring rates, etc...

Oh yeah - I haven't forgot about welding your stuff up if you still need it done. I *should* be able to get it done the first Sunday in May depending on what surprises work has in store for me....

Don't worry about welding the stuff up for me, I sold the Rock Krawler kit. I dropped the body lift from 3" to 1" and Ill just run that with my coil spacers and my 33's for another season.
Next winter is when things should get interesting, for me anyways... That's why I have started researching about the making links and etc... 1 tons, 39's and 4" lift coils...
