Yep, they rock.

Too bad when Crown Assets ends up selling them to the public all that will be left is a big grease smear and rust.

We don't get them to sell. They go to Michener Allen (I. E. Rideau Auction).....

But yeah, your right. They are typically completely bastardized by that point anyways.

That's the G-wagon......not to bad for a run around vehicle. I'm not sure if they have already started selling them though.

I do miss the iltis.....that was one awesome little vehicle.

And yes I'm qualified and have driven a leopard :D :p

I can back that up, he was going to stop in one night while they were on manouvers.....and Karen and I were in the Hot Tub. Now that would have been interesting!!!hehehehehehe
That's the coyote (8x8 with a 25mm cannon). Leopard is a bit big to be maneuvering around your small streets :)

Some day, some day !

Working for it.

BTW just the rims (Hutchinson 2 piece with runflat) cost more than s/o jeeps.

I hear the stock tires are crap above ~70 km/h - white-knucklers.

Mitko! Look out in the lane way - you already have one! ;)

One Mercedes is not enough. Never. Period.

BTW the Bulgarian Army got their Gwagens before the Forces Canada. I was still there and knowing the proper people had a chance to shot a lot of pictures of the undercariage, interiior and stuff. Very intresting. Food for thought.

I don't have any experiance with the vehicle as I'm not qualifyied it, or have driven in it much.

But from what I know....... It has 4x4 (obviously) and electric locking front and rear diffs, that take a few secs to kick, so your screwed when your already stuck. While I was overseas, I didn't see the vehicle very much outside of the main camp. We used the LAV's alot more. It's a run around more civilianised usage type vehicle. It's a good replacement for the ilitis for modernisation.

Wish I could tell you guys more about it
