argh. i was totally planning on coming to do the quinn on the sunday but i just spent many dollars and even more hours getting my truck back to montreal from being dead in Ompah - my t-case took a dump.,

i can say that in the area the bugs are BRUTAL during the day, blackflies are wicked,. the evening was fine, the mornings up until 8:00 were good but aside from that, you had to be moving or the blackflies would swarm you. with a dead truck, you don't. if i was going i'd bring a bug hat and some DEET!

as long as the weather is ok, cooking on fire is fine, you will need a bucket of water for that fire please. there is a lake or 2 within 2 min drive to collect said bucket, but have ti at your site with the fire to put it out when done and just in case.. it is the rules of OPG, no water, no fire

Usually lots of wood if you want to work for it..

We have spoken to Donny the wood suppler (Russet Dr. down the road from Stinsons.) This Rd. is the back way to Old Cherries general store. Calabogie Rd. + #17 hwy. Anyway I need to clarify but Laura tells me 6Qwards for $65.

hey i am just wondering what the policy on pets is ..i assume they can come as most people have a dog and it would be odd to ask everyone to put there dog in a kennel so they could go specially if its more than one

Well we do have a queen sized air mattress ona frame that puts it at regular bed height. People used to make fun of me for that until we all woke up one morning, they were all wet from the ground and I was nice and dry

Yea life is rough, I will be bringing up my Toy-hauler on Thursday after work to set up. Spend the night then back to work on Friday. We will be warm and dry. Of course I won't be warm and dry in my truck!!!

Only problem wiht Air mattresses when it is cold, is they hold the cold air close to you and make you cold too.. gotta love those spring nights ..

Although I will be packed i nmy tiny "2" man tent... all warm and dry... acept when I have tpo get up in the morning and get out of my warm sleeping bag into the cold air... bbrrrrr
