Crossing the border with parts from the states

Got a friend who wants to redo his floors in his Chevy and he has to get the floor pans from the states. Shipping and cross border fees are murder on the price for him. I mentioned what you guys do with the mailbox in the states and he has a relative down there that he can get parts shipped to then go pick up.

He was wondering though that when you cross the border with large or heavy parts, do you have any problems "declaring" them, or getting search or paying something to cross with the...

You just need all the receipts for the parts you are bringing back. That's it ... they ask how much you're bring back, you tell 'em they send you in to pay taxes on it... pretty simply process, Ogdensburg crossing usually only takes 5 minutes.
