Buying a vehicle from quebec

Hey guys, looking to buy a bike from Quebec...
does anybody know what paperwork is involved. does quebec have a used vehicle package like ontario does?

I assume you're bringing it into Ontario for registration?

It's been awhile, but as far as I know Quebec doesn't have any such package. Also, I don't think a safety is required for vehicles changing hands that stay in Quebec.... so if you bring it to Ontario keep in mind that thing may need some work to get it up to snuff.

If you're buying from a dealer get it in writing that they will cover any costs involved in passing the Ontario safety. I bought a car Quebec side and fought with the dealer to reimburse me for all four tires and a rear wiper motor- not fun.

Just be really sure of what you're buying.

- what bike are you buying!

My Bike came from Quebec.
No used vehicle package and just nees asafety for registration in Ontario.

As a current dark side resident I can answer: easy. Get the ownership sighned and bill of sale and, got safety in ON and go to MTO.
