willys frame

have a 1952 jeep willys frame to get rid of. my buddy doesn't have internet so i'm putting it for sale for him. it's in good shape, no carcks or rotten spots. askin 200$ o.b.o. the fraqme is in gatineau and it still has the axles on it. but the body is of. u can contact me at 1-819-441-1154 or 1-819-334-2148.

Do you know if it was a "winter" model? check the serial number on the frame horn. I think there was only 2300 of these made and you may get more money for it from a collector.

what did it meant? i will get back at you with that.the tub is sitting on a yj frame and undercarriage. this is gonna be a great project, especially with the 4liter engine in a willys.

what does the windsheild look like on the tub? Does it fold down or is it bolted in a vertical possition? Winter models came with hard doors and a hard top.

nope, no hard top or doors on this one. just the plain ol flattie. the tub is in great condition. i was wondering bout the ratio of the axles. looks to have a danna 44 in the rear. could it have 5:38's? cause i saw a cj with a strange rear ratio and a buddy of mine told me that it came out of a willys, but to say there all the same, i'm not sure.:heep:

most, if not all of them came with 5:38 gears. The rear could be a Dana 44 but it would have tapered 10 spline axles.

ok, first time i c one! it had one one but it was hand made.looks nice by the way. we were thinking of removing the axle tubes and put the dana 35 and 30 in place but it seems it won't work since these are 10 splines:banghead:

yes but it is been used on top of a yj drivetrain. gonna be a wicked project.
