North of Deep River

has anybody been up north of Deep River on HWY17. Went up to sudbury this past weekend, and it looks like there's tonnes of trails

about an hour or less past deep river is mattawa where they have the Voyager multi use trail system (check out VMUTS.ca) and although i have never taken the jeep up there i have taken my ATV on some of the events that they hold and the trail system is pretty cool, although being a "trail system" that is maintained there is a user fee. There is a lot of open trail and mud but i don't really remember any rock sections that would be too challenging for a jeep but i haven't explored all the trails up there.

absolutely! I haven't gone for a few weeks and the jeep is taughnting me in the driveway to get out and wheel. How is the trailer hunt going? I'm guessing there is nothing suitable locally.

Trailer hunt kind of stalled out this past week, I have one or two more places to call, but it looks like I'm gonna order up a "Canada Trailer" deckover from Truck's Plus.

You up for some light wheeling next weekend? I'd like to get my rig out for more than a jaunt down to the BB lines :lmao: I just wanna do something close by for a couple hours to test everything out......

How does Saturday morning around 9 sound? As hokey as it sounds, I've haven't been been wheeling in the Pet area since '05, so you're gonna have to play trail guide. I just need something local and with some moderately difficult terrain to test everything out with....

Sat at 9, sounds good and i'll have to think for a good local trail as i haven't been running too many local trails this year - but i'll get us out on one! Lookin forward to it.:D

We haven't gone up there yet - Marek and I just wheeled a local trail for a bit of a shakedown run.
