Catch up with ya at Hopetown. If i don't make it on time, go ahead and i'll catch up.

Any interest in seeing if we can find the back way :)

The only limitation on my day is we have to be home for 5 since the inlaws are over for dinner.

You should have made the start then a bit earlier. It's about 30 minutes from Hopetown just to get to the trailhead. It's too late now though... ...

Just saying :)

If you meet at 10 at Hopetown, it'll be close to 11 before you start (Drive to trailhead and air down...). It's a good 2hrs to the top and then, lunch and then 1.75/2hrs back down.... You will be pressed for time :)

Tell the inlaws you will be late :)....

So a decent turnout for Lavant:
Me
Tim (ODTJ)
Tony (Louie)
Justin (I think?) and SO (jlalonde)
Tom (BlackKJ)
Logan (Logan)

Weather was decent, a bit of sprinkling so it made it a tad greasy. Tim led up front since he had done it before. At the pool (I think that was what it was called basically the edge of the lake), Tom came within millimeters of altering the lines of his driver side rocker panel. He shurgged it off. I was (as usual) the one to get hung up on the way up. I got stuck between a rock and log I couldn't climb with lack of grip due to open diffs up front and a big rock right behind my rear diff so I couldn't back up. Tim tugged me over and then we were on our way. Once we got to the top we realized somewhere along the way that Logan had pushed in his rear bumper on the passenger side. On the way down, Louis led and again Logan this time lost his driver side mirror because it wasn't cooperating with him. The same spot I got hung up introduced a new dent on the passenger side front corner of my transfer case skid. The whole time, Tim was looking on how to do things difficult. So if he went right, we went left.
Justin decided to climb this stream bed and ended up mangling his soft top and rolling on his driver side. With a quick pull on his winch, Tim fixed him up good.
Got the pictures off my FIL's camera I will be uploading shortly
Thanks to Tim and Tony for leading, much appreciated!!
Anyone with pictures can be sent to my home email at ctrembla at gmail dot com

Carp - Flooded engine
Lavant last year - cut side wall, ripped off 2 skid plates
Gorge - front driveshaft, 2 outer tie rods
Lavant this year - Mirror and body damage that I dont care about...

Was really fun, and apparently I got air climbing up the shelf...bwahahahaha
