Northbrook Powerlines-Sept 24-26

Wheeling on some private property (where I flopped last year) near Flinton on Saturday with the North Hastings 4WDC, then will wheel the powerlines on Sunday.
We can either camp at the campground, or at the parking lot near the powerline entrance.

Yup. The trail is basically a big figure 8 with different obstacles off of it.

Scott & I planned on staying at the campground. I'll be heading down Friday some time. Adrian, I'm not sure they are still having the brunch but will enquire when I call just to make sure they are still open for business.

Well I got back from NH at 3 this morning due to the fact that I could not get into 3rd gear in the bus..........let me tell you that travelling across NH, VA and NY state on secondary roads most of the time lets you see a lot of interesting countryside, well until it gets dark then it's just plain tedious. So nevertheless I am not sure of what my plans are for the weekend and will not know until I do some research and talk to some people to figure wth is going on.

Oh, I guess NH is for New Hampshire, here I thought you were gone to North Hastings

Just called Sherwood Park and they are still open, sorry Adrian, no more brunch till next year. I plan on arriving Friday afternoon at some point. I have the whole day off so....

OK, so what's the final count....4....5? Anyway, the North Hastings guys are talking about not playing at Phil's now and going to the powerlines with us. We'll have to figure out what we're doing Saturday morning.
