just my .02 - but i would regear both to 4.56. I don't think you'd be too happy with 3.73's and 33's, you'd probably regret not doing it in the long run.

I would regear front and rear 4.56-4.88 with the D44 and put a Detroit in the rear and if budget allows TrueTrack in the front. The TrueTrack will let you keep using the 4x4 on road without any adverse effects in the steering department. A selectable would be the "best" but at a cost of course.

If there is anything I can help you with give me a call.

Personally, if I were keeping it for just 1-2 years I would put the bare minimum of work into it. Sounds like you have to do the work to the d30 regardless of what you do ... so I would fix the d30 and call it a day. You can always regear later if you feel it is necessary... and it would probably be cheaper to keep your eye out over the winter for a 3.73 complete d30. I was quite happy with 3.73 and 33's with my jeep.

Is it 2XL or 2 XL's? black or grey? I'm not sure we have em but I'll get em as I have an order to make tomorrow. Drop us an e-mail in the morning and I'll take care of it.
