I'm looking at becoming an Amsoil dealer, and was wondering if there was any interest in the products from the members. Anyone currently use it, or interested in trying?

I'm interested, haven't used it but heard good things.

Yes, I use it... getting it locally is often a PIA. The place I go to usually only carries ~6qts at a time.

Full Synthetic. I'd say comparable to Royal Purple without all the snazzy advertizing. I've used it lots in the past and would again. My parents actually were a dealer way back when.

Sounds great if you put on enough mileage, they still recommend replacing oil and filter every year which is what we'll be doing anyways. But if you become a dealer I'll let other people know.

i try to use either royal purple or amsoil (atlas recomends use of amsoil for their t-cases). Isn't Benson's an amsoil dealer? they are here in pet.

Like mentioned, it's a high end synthetic that promotes extended oil change intervals (40,000km/1 year).

Would everyone be looking for a source to order from, or more an off the shelf type place? If the latter, what products are you most interested in? I'm guessing at least the gear oils, 5w30/10w30 and maybe ATF?

I do not use their ATF, but I would be willing to try it on the next change. I also use amsoil grease for the hubs.

I'm fine with ordering, as long as turn around time was not too long and picking it up was not too much of a hassle... I was going to try a vendor on pirate in the spring. Currently I go to Auto Imports on woodward, but like I said, they don't stock much gear oil. And when I clean them out, it takes several months for them to restock. They told me they had to place a $1000+ order for amsoil products.

We sell Amsoil products and it's a great product. It's pricey but when you use their oil filters the intervals for oil changes is crazy.
Amsoil filters filter WAY better than regular run of the mill filters, therefore it's ok to do longer intervals with more frequent filter changes.

I'd prefer ordering, but only if the turn around time isn't too crazy. But I would also be fine with an off the shelf setup too. I'd be primarily looking for 0w30 and filters for a 4.0 Jeep Engine and a 3.8 Chevy for the wife's car.
