Personally, the selfishness of someone who asks that a meeting be moved around their schedule in a club with dozens of members comes across as far more rude. Plenty of other members here have posted up that they can't make it, and none (including the president) asked for it to be moved.

I myself think moving the meeting is crazy , you either make an effort to make it or not , case closed.
I would have never said he was to new to listen to.I would have simply said I guess you won't make it then.
