I've hear you have to put a lot of load on the carrier bearings to keep them tight. Who setup the diff?

+1 - Cranking the shit out of the side adjusters make them last a lot longer. (less deflection)

guys I don't know who set up these diffs. the one in my truck now I set up. as soon as winter is over before spring fling hopefully ill remove it and inspect and check those side adjusters. is there no torque spec for that and what about over tightening? after all its bearing preload. unless im mistaken is it not the same as a wheel bearing?
