The truck is very rough body wise but drivetrain should be good. Going to the scrap yard Monday if no one is interested. Listing for a friend but he is firm on $500, no trades. Thanks, Dave ......... Located 20min west of Collingwood.

If it is scrap on Monday, why is it worth 500.00 now? I could never figure that one out? How about someone does your buddy a favour and picks it up for free and he doesn't have to worry about taking it to scrap!!

Thanks but with scrap here at $220 a ton..... do the math. Add a little extra $$ for the pain in the ass factor for holding on to it... Thought I was being fair, anyone else have anything to say.

Good price for steel too!!! I thought it was only 150.00 a ton. So 300 for the steel salvage minus 100 for the tow. My math says 200.00 , but good luck on the sale. Tranny and t-case and a case of beer should cover it!!

Thanks for the interest everyone! For a while there I felt like a wounded fawn surrounded by wolves, lol. I plan on loading it on the trailer today. I'll let ya know how much he gets for it.

holy crap i have to take scrap there i just took a 90 cherokee loaded with junk and got 246 and the next day a 2000 chev venture and got 256 for it...it would be worth the drive.

Pays to call around for scrap prices, they are probably getting better prices in Central/Southern Ontario... closer to the end users like Gerdau Ameristeel in Whitby, or US Steel / Arcelor Mittal (aka Stelco and Dofasco) in Hamilton... Rates in Hamilton in March were $220 ton for prepped autos (no tires/batt's or gas tank)
