Here is a partial list of OVO and non-OVO events for 2010. Please provide input for other events that you are aware of. From the output of this list I will try and arrange a schedule of trail runs for us this year, instead of last year's unorganized mess...
KOTH: Feb 7-13th
Rausch Creek Qualifier for King of the Hammers: May 7th, 2010
Spring Fever Trail Cleaning: May 8th or 15th
Spring Fever: May 21-24th
SuziCan: July 1-4
4 Wheel Jamboree & Rausch Creek: July 8-15th, see Jim Peabody...

I *guess* it's tentative. But that is the long weekend, and I think we've determined (after changing the weekend once or twice) that we get a much better turn out on the holiday weekend...
Tim can confirm when he decides on the actual date.

Planning a local schedule, this is why I want to get all the known dates first.

That would be very much appreciated. It was almost impossible to plan around last year. Glad I'm not the only one who thought it was a bit of a mess.

Having a set schedule for certain runs is good for planning but doesn't preclude any ad-hoc, last minutes runs for those who are available on any given weekend.

Just saying it'd be nice to have more than one or two weeks' notice.

What about a Kaladar/ Madoc run? I really wanna go back this year. And PJF weekends, but i guess that depends when the Park is open.

PJF has been the last weekend of the month for the last 2 seasons -- will need to confirm with Pierre though.

Just looking for *planned* events in this list Matt, see the trails list for options (Lingham is listed :) ).

I think it's not bad idea to squezze a safety course sometime early spring aswell.

Our spring RC trip will likely be after RCQ (May 7) or before RCrocks (May 1), but I will let Steve put in the final say on that one. Last year we went in April, before RCRocks.

Paging Jen.... this was her project., unless you wanna take it on?

I'll get on that... You wanted a late date... early October was it?

Oh, and have we completely given up the show and shine? That was a lot of fun even though I showed up so late

I believe it was mentioned, we call it the "Twist Off"

It will be different this year, I am not going to charge the people who bring their trucks out to give the spectators a show anything. (I think the club can afford $200 in trophies) The BBQ will hopefully be run by the Fire Fighters and proceeds will go to them obviously.
