This is the current local run / event calendar for 2011. Trails will get added / tweaked as the months tick by. If you would like to lead a trail and can pick a date well in advance, please let me know and I will add it to the list. Specifically, I need trail leaders for the following trails: Gorge, Darling, Burntlands... and if any interest, Straddle bug, dwyer hill, and rusty bat.

April 17 - Quinn cleaning run
Trail leader: Tim

April 28 to May 1 - Rausch Creek Pennsylvania
Trail leader...

Are there any Stock friendly trails? I am getting my mud tires in the near future but want to get out and enjoy the trails ASAP. Also what is the OVO safety Course? I Just got my Sahara Unlimited and am new to jeepin and want to learn some tricks of the trade. Is this a good spot for that?

Scheduled stock friendly / capable trails include: Carp, Burntlands, and The Gorge. The safety course would be a good first run to go on. Mitko will be going over proper recovery methods and as long as enough people show up, they will run Carp trail as well.

Just an idea, but.... Maybe we should put the minimum requirements for each trail beside the run?

Trail leaders will post a new thread in the event / trail forum roughly a week prior to the scheduled run. They will list everything you need to know: location, time, vehicle requirements, etc.

Are Lavant and or Suzican runs out of the question for the Big-Hoe?

the one time i went up lavant with a couple eotb guys there was a guy in a full size dodge with a solid front axle and at least 33's prob 35's, he did it no problem, lightly bottomed out in a couple spots where the length was not the best but nothing of concern. if a run to lavant is posted up soon i will try to make it out with the new taco.

I need September trail leaders. If you want to lead a trail, pick one and send me a pm with the date. We have not done burntlands this year, so if anyone wants to lead that in September please let me know.
