What about a list of trails that are a go and no go?
Im not a hunter so im not sure what ones are/are not.
Im pretty sure carp and burntlands are no hunting areas.

Carp I would say is not since it is way too close to expensive houses.
Burntlands is definitely a no since it is a preserve.

Not so much about high vis colours as it is about not making a ton of noise in the bush while the hunters are out and about. Driving away all the game for potentially miles around (or at least the appearance of doing so) doesn't win you a whole lot of friends.

As mentioned, trails 100% ok include Carp, Burntlands, Rock Coady.

Questionable: The Gorge, Lavant, Darling
While I do not think anyone actually hunts on the Gorge, there are always shells on it, so people are for sure firing guns.

Highly questionable: Calabogie
If you know there is a hunt camp in the immediate vicinity of a trail, you should probably avoid it.

This is not club policy, just a stance I have taken towards scheduling trail runs during the fall hunting season. During bow only dates, pretty much all our trails are fair game. All the hunters I have questioned in regards to bows and my concerns with us offroading (ie noise) assure me that they are not normally bow hunting anywhere near someplace we would be taking a Jeep

And as Kevin mentioned, it's a consideration thing. We don't wreck sled trails in the winter and we try to not ruin hunting season by making excess noise in hunting areas.

We met up with a bird hunter with a rifle on Lavant a few years ago. He was good natured and didn't mind us being there, but we should stay off that trail.
