Not that I am an J*** expert but IMHO the best-for-the buck is/was RoughCountry, about $500 for 4", shocks included, very well made kit, pretty much everything man need to run up to 35".

I've been very happy with the rubicon express 3.5" short arm lift. It was perfect for 33's, IMO. I have since upgraded it to the 4.5" kit (but kept the 3.5" springs). You can add a 1" body lift to this kit and easily run 35's (or in my case, 37's). The kit is more expensive than most and does not include shocks.

To be honest, I dont see myself going bigger then this down the road. The jeep is my daily driver so I wont be wheeling it everyweek. Dont get me wroung it will get dirty! Just every once and awhile.
My "goal" is to build a decent size jeep that can handle most trails around here and more. But my main thing is on the driveability of it everyday...
Im stilling doing my research on all the lifts out there and taking my time doing so. Making sure I get what I really want. I just wanted to see what info you guys had.....

Speaking of SYE, where around here do you get one and what is the typical cost?

Figure out what your final plan is. Do you want to run 37's in 4 years? Will 33's be enough? Then decide on a kid that suits your needs. Rubicon Express is adaptable as Brad has said, but if you want to go bigger down the road, hen go small now with a 2" Body lift and 2" spacer lift. Anything over 3" in suspension will require a SYE and new CV shaft. It all depends on your budget and goals.

Locally, standard options apply: Climb4wd, PJF, National. I got mine through Nick at Climb a couple a years ago to the tune of $375 CAD. If you go through any online retailer and ship to Ogdensburg, you should be able to get the AA one for around $240 USD.

And seems to me I spent $80 on my driveshaft at Malmberg.

I think I figured out my clunking noise on takeoff which may be driveline vibe, silly for a 2"BB to cause it but those are the breaks. I may try dropping my transfer case a bit and see if it deals with it but if not, a SYE may be a better ide. Would definitely make sure to get a Driveshaft that takes into account potential change in lift height. Going to have to live with it for next couple months. A little too snowy and cold to work on the jeep right now.

If you do go the SYE route, don't forget to factor in adjustable upper control arms for the rear.

It would be wierd for your BB to be making that vibration. I would check your U-Joints first. Maybe one of them is seizing up.

X2. I had no driveshaft vibs with 4" lift/1" TC drop. Dont waste efforts droping the TC, with your BB you are hardly moving pinions up.
Check U-joints as Matt sugested.

Ofcourse, it's a **** thing, you will never understand :flipoff:

No idea. Supposedly a 2" getting vibes is possible, rare but possible.
I did notice it doesn't do it as much (if at all) in 4wd. Bunch of us were talking about it at the last meet and it may be possible. I think it is going to involve someone laying next to it as it takes off to see what is going on. Needless to say the weather isn't conducive right now. It was a lot worse before I replaced the transfer case linkage bushing, but it is still there.
Oh, ball joints were replaced the day after the first meet I went to and a U-joint was replaced right before I got it. Maybe a different one? Either way, I can't wait for the ground to dry up and get a lot warmer.

Yes it is possible but very rare. You can come over to my place sometime and we can check it out in the garage if you want. I seem to have some extra time on my hands :smokin:
