I still havnt ordered my lift. Thought Id hold off till nicer weather came:glasses:

So my goal is still to run a set of 33x12.5 MTs.
Ive decied to go with the roughcountry 4" series II lift. Since it seems to be the best bang for your buck and the reviews Ive been reading havnt been all that bad.
But Im still on a budget an even tighter one then I was on before (moving out into my first house!). So after re-reading Mud Lite's reply
Anything over 3" in suspension will require a SYE and new CV shaft. It all depends on your budget and goals.

I started going through other options:
2.5" Rough Country Suspention lift with a 1.5" body lift, or a 2" Body lift and 2" spacer lift.

My TJ is my daily driver. gets drivin 365days a year.
Basicly I just want some opinions on both of my options. Pros/Cons, Will I even have enough tire clearance for my 33s with my last 2 options?

Yes 33's will fit with your last 2 options. First, don't do a body lift unless your willing to cut holes in the floor to remove the broken nut. The body mount bolts always sieze on and break the captured nut, and you have to cut the floor to remove and replace them. You won't gain ground clearence or flex with a body lift. The only benefit is you would be able to run a bigger tire.
I do believe that the RC lift comes with a T-case drop. You could always do that until you get the cash to do a SYE and driveshaft. But then you are loose the ground clearence you just gained.

So you have to decide if your doing this for looks or functionality. Looks, do the BB and body lift. Functionality, do the suspen lift with a SYE.

I'd wheel it

Just to clarify, with the t-case drop you'll lose the lift under the belly that you gained with the lift kit but you'll still have the lift you gain with bigger tires.

I am in the same boat. I have a 2" BB and was getting vibes. It is rare for that to occur but it does. I did a TCase drop and the vibes disappeared. Main reason I did it was that it sees much more road miles than offroad and it was annoying as hell. Someday I want to get a proper suspension lift (3-4") and do an SYE just to get rid of the drop. One thing I don't know about the SYE is how much of a variance you can get in a drive shaft. IOW whether I could get one now and still be able to use the same drive shaft when lifted another inch or two.

In my experience it's a 50/50 deal the SYE.
On 50% of the trucks we do the 4" lifts on don't need them.
So you might get lucky and not need one at all.
We at PJF4x4 HATE body lifts. If your thinking of running 33" tires on your truck I would just go 4" lift. If you install the T-case drop and have GOOD joints on your rear shaft I think you'll be fine.

My 2 cents.

If you need any help or "motivation" give us a call! ;)
