hey does anyone know what dana44 axle will fit under thr front of my explorer?lookin to straight axle the front end.

Since the rear is around 59", anything in that range should be good. Waggy would work for D44, and probably a D30 from a Jeep as well (I'm not versed as well on the widths there, I do know that the exploder 8.8 is just about perfect for YJ/TJ's). The D30 would also have a matching 5x4.5 bolt pattern. If you can stand a little more width, consider full size axles as well.

What size tire are you planning on running. 33 and under I would go a hp dana30. Width and bolt pattern are right. Any larger tire I would go with a waggy44 and run an adapter on the rear for bolt pattern and width.
