Apparently I've got 2.73 gears in the Heep (seriously?), and that is the damn break in the AMC20 carrier, so does anyone happen to have a carrier for the higher gear range around? While I can justify a real locker for the front 44, I can't really for the rear. Hell, if it wasn't already trussed/chromo'd/Lockrite'd, and I wasn't on a tight (read: non-existant) budget, I wouldn't bother at all. The $500 for a real locker is much better spend on a 9"/D44/something else.

Anywho, if anyone...

I have an AMC20 in an old Full Size Cherokee. I have no idea what the gears are but they gotta be more than 2.73's. Might be a few days before I could go and check for you though, (maybe Sat.)

Actually, if you're willing to part with the whole axle, I might take it depending on width. Not that I can find solid info on a Cheroke M20 width (WT vs NT)
