Ok well since Im new here figured id drop a few pics of what Ive done and where I plan on going with this toy...

Here it was the way it sat when I bought it, buddy built it up but never really tested it out...

Tires rubbed a bit, in fenders and on the foot rails..so needed a little trimming..and rail removal...to stay on budget went with TJ flares and a little...

Btw do you have stock shafts in your axles?

Yes...stock shafts..Stock Gears...stock TC...Stock Tranny...havent had any issues as of yet..guess I baby it a little..let the jeep do the work and not the Gas Peddal...or Ive just been Lucky..I try to stay away from having to hop up anything...use momentum or Traction...I have a full set of extra shafts... so gonna take my chances with the stocks...full set of extra gears too...what I am missing is extra drive shafts..lol..I like having spares...

Hmmmm...thats different I say I have alot of stock parts and no major bashing yet???? You guys are a great bunch..lol...like I said..Ive had a whole season of riding..sure not everyday but have had quite a few good rides and no major issues...front pinion seal had to be replaced was starting to leak a little, but the jeep does have 249000 on the body so eventually things are gonna wear I guess..Bump Steer, and Driveline vibes are minimal in my jeep compared to what ive heard some people talk about ...Only thing i can see is the previous owner put in the angled shims for the axel..maybe thats helping hide the issue....guessin I got a good one.......Anyone else here have experiences running stock parts? I know its not ideal but seems to work so far...

Everyone runs stock parts in some shape or form. If it aint broke, don't fix it. Unless you want to, that is
There's something to be said for upgrading the weak link parts BEFORE they break, but as we all know, in many cases, that just transfers the weak link somewhere else!

Ive got 33s on my xj and this past summer i swapped my d35 rear axle to a 29spline c8.25 which should hold on stock shafts no problem. I was having bad vibes so i put 6 degree shims and a tc drop and it runs smooth up to around 100kmh, after that its like sitting in a massaging chair lol i also had to trim a little bit around the yoke of my driveshaft because it was hitting the slip yoke when it rotated..its been good all winter so far!

Till Valhalla!
I ran with 35's and a fairly stock drivetrain (hack'n tap SYE) for half a summer before upgrading the front shafts to cromo's for piece of mind. You really need to find the limits (which usually means breaking something) to know where that is and be easy on the skinny pedal.

Well got the TJ Flare on one side on the back figured Id add a few pics..opens up the well quite a bit...not the cleanest work ive ever done but will clear the 35's now..lol...thats the main idea behind doing it..still open to cheap bushwackers if anyone ever has any they want to get rid of..lol...but when TJ flares come at ya free...and they can do the job ya cant shun them away...lol
